Examining Data to Improve Child Find Systems Working Series

Session 1: May 21, 2024. Introduction to Child Find and Data Reporting Requirements; Engaging Key Partners.

Session 2: June 4, 2024. Identifying and Using Available Data to Dig Deeper into How the Child Find System is Working Across the State.

Session 3: July 16, 2024. Developing and executing an Analysis Plan to Answer Critical Questions About Child Find.

States and local programs collect numerous data points that can provide insight into their child find systems. This three-part working series addressed how state and local Part C and Part B 619 program can use data to examine their child find systems. Session 1 focused on Federal reporting requirements related to child find and engaging key partners in analyzing data. Session 2 focused on identifying and using other available data to dig deeper into how the child find system is working across the state. Session 3 focused on developing an analysis plan to answer critical questions about child find.

Intended Audience

Part C & 619 Coordinators, data managers, and other staff with child find responsibilities. This event was open to all state staff who wish to join. We encouraged state teams to participate together when they could, in particular teams made up of coordinators, data managers, and other staff with child find responsibilities.
