The DaSy Center hosted What DaSy Can Do for You, a webinar packed with insights and resources for states. DaSy works with states to improve their capacity to collect, report, analyze and use high-quality IDEA Part C Early Intervention and IDEA Part B 619 Early Childhood Special Education data (IDEA Data Fundamentals). This webinar introduced DaSy’s foundational resources, technical assistance (TA) opportunities, and upcoming supports for IDEA Part C and Part B 619 programs.
Below, we list the many tools and supports mentioned in the webinar that can strengthen your state’s capacity to collect, report, analyze, and use data effectively.
Key Resources Highlighted in the Webinar
DaSy’s library of resources serves as a foundation for state teams working to enhance their data systems and practices. Featured resources include:

- SPP/APR Checklists and Tips: Planning guides and writing tips to ensure complete and accurate submissions.
- Indicator Calculation Guidance: Detailed instructions for calculating indicators with a focus on data quality and accuracy.
- Indicator C12 Reporting Support: Resources to help states track and report findings of noncompliance, including data scenarios and a calculation tool.
- Individualized State TA for SPP/APR: Assistance includes helping states revise their data collection and analysis methods, conducting root cause analyses, reviewing draft APRs, and providing support during the APR clarification period.
- EDPass Submission Supports: Tools and office hours designed to assist states with EDPass submissions, particularly for Section 618 data.
Technical Assistance Opportunities
In addition, DaSy offers a variety of TA formats to meet states’ needs:
- Cohorts: Cross-state learning opportunities on topics like Family Data Leaders, Child Outcomes Data Use, Family Outcomes, and Child Find.
- Learning Communities: Role- and topic-focused groups such as the Part C Data Managers Community of Practice (CoP) contact Ciearra Norwood-Williams for more information, Family Outcomes CoP, Data Systems CoP, and Part C DMS 2.0 Quarterly Calls.
- Individualized State TA: From quick consultations to in-depth, on-site support, DaSy aligns TA to meet states’ specific needs.
- Data-Specific TA: DaSy provides hands-on support to help states improve data quality, enhance data exchanges, strengthen governance practices, and optimize data systems.
