New and Updated Resources for SPP/APR

To streamline the SPP/APR reporting process, DaSy and ECTA have updated the SPP/APR Guidance. These resources are available to help states understand the purpose of the SPP/APR, the reporting requirements for each indicator, and how to prepare and submit the report.

SPP/APR Checklists and Tips

Updated for FFY 2023, the SPP/APR Checklists and Tips are organized by indicator and align directly with fields in the SPP/APR submission platform, ensuring all required information is included. Each document includes specific tips to verify that relevant instructions are addressed for each indicator. A checklist is available for each of the Part C indicators, as well as preschool Indicators B6, B7, B12, and B17. Additional resources for Indicators C12 and B18 are expected soon.

New Data Calculations

The new Data Calculations detail the data requirements for each indicator’s calculation, referencing federal measurement tables. Each guide covers data for the numerator and denominator, necessary data points, data sources, and provides sample calculations. All Part C indicators are covered, along with Part B preschool indicators B6, B7, and B12, with additional resources for C12 and B18 to come.

Special Office Hours

Another support for Part C during this busy time includes DaSy and ECTA hosted office hours throughout each deadline session. DaSy and ECTA will also take a deep dive into the new requirements regarding root cause analysis for Indicators C5 and C6 and into new Indicator C12. Tools and resources will be provided and there will be time for state questions and discussion.

Office hours are open to all. Don’t miss these opportunities to chat with and learn from other Part C staff. It’s time to share strategies and tips!
