Are you looking for better ways to share your publicly-reported data with stakeholders? Do you wish you had access to an easy-to-use tool to help you create engaging data displays? Looker Studio is a powerful free online tool that lets you quickly and easily display data in a variety of ways. This two-part workshop series demonstrated the many uses of the tool that are applicable to Part C and Part B 619 public reporting requirements.

Workshop 1: Introduction to Looker Studio –
Thursday, November 10

Workshop 1 provided an overview of Looker Studio for Part C and Part B 619 staff who are interested in using the tool to visualize data in meaningful ways. During this workshop, participants learned the basics about the tool’s capabilities and features, how to navigate the tool, and how to connect applicable Part C and Part B 619 data and create simple templates to publish reports with visualizations.

Workshop 2: Creating Advanced Visualizations Using Looker Studio – Thursday, December 8

During Workshop 2, participants dug deeper into more advanced features and functionality of Looker Studio. They practiced adding controls to reports and had the opportunity to see how reports can be combined to create dashboards that can be used to ongoingly update publicly-reported data.
