In this presentation from the 2023 NASDSE Conference, DaSy/ECTA staff provide an overview of the preschool child outcomes data, including the rationale for collecting these data; what data are reported; the history of child outcomes reporting at the national level; the various approaches states use to measure child outcomes; the current and historical nation-wide data on child outcomes; and markers of data quality. This session also provided opportunities to discuss participant questions, highlight a timeline for annual state outcome-related activities, and connect professionals to available resources.
