A collection of self-directed modules that provide a basic understanding of the IDEA Part C and Part B 619 SPP/APR indicators and their requirements.
These resources help states prepare and submit the SPP/APR, including the SPP/APR Basics online training series, checklists and tips (updated October 2024), and new calculations guidance that specifies the data to include in the calculations for each SPP/APR indicator.
The ECTA and DaSy Centers worked together to provide technical assistance and highlight state practices. These state snapshots are organized by selected indicators from the SPP/APR to support OSEP’s APR Indicator Analysis.
This presentation at the 2024 IDIO conference provided information and resources to help states to build a solid understanding of the SPP/APR indicators and the nuances of each calculation. Resources highlighed included the “SPP/APR Basics” online training modules, the Checklists and Tips, and the new Data Calculation documents.

In this IDIO 2024 presentation, DaSy/ECTA staff cover the basics for child outcomes measurement and reporting, including an overview of how they were developed, what the outcomes are, how the indicators are calculated, what approaches to measurement states use, what the national results look like, how to consider child outcomes data quality, and where to access additional resources.
This tool can be used to chart the child outcomes summary statements (Indicator C3/B7) over time. It displays trends in child outcomes in the form of line charts, which makes it easy to track progress and interpret the data.
In this January 2024 presentation, DaSy and ECTA staff discuss the national performance data for indicators C3 and B7, including national data, state variations in performance, and TA resources.
DEC. Deccember 2023. This presentation demonstrates ways to apply an intersectional approach to data analysis. DaSy/ECTA staff offer a grounding definition of the approach, highlight various examples of intersectional narratives in everyday media, and walk through a specific example of intersectional analysis of child outcomes data.
