The IDEA Part C Child Count and Setting Data Tool, developed by DaSy, is designed to provide assistance to IDEA Part C Data Managers and other EDPass users to submit the state 2025 child count and settings 618 data set due July 29, 2026. The tool offers a way to ensure accuracy of these data prior to official submission.
The tool allows users to create the EDPass file per the specifications in the four child count and settings files (FS902, FS903, FS904, and FS905). The tool can help states save time by identifying potential format errors, validation errors, and other errors in subtotals or totals, including the year-to-year comparisons. Thorough instructions for creating the file are included as well as a checklist to guide completion.
DaSy is offering office hours through the end of July to support the data submission.
Intended audience: Part C Data managers and Coordinators, plus other users of EDPass.
