We suggest Part C staff preparing the SPP/APR, including the SSIP, carefully review the following documents:

  • Part C SPP/APR Instructions: Pay special attention to the stakeholder and parent engagement requirements that must be reported in the APR.
  • Part C SPP/APR Measurement Table: This document outlines the measurement requirements for each indicator.
  • FFY 2021 SPP/APR Template: Note places where you must insert links to documents that are required to be posted on your website such as:
    • Public reports on LEA performance on SPP/APR indicators
    • SPP/APR
    • SSIP Theory of Action
    • SSIP Evaluation Plan
  • FFY 2021 Part C SPP/APR User Guide: This document will include additional information about the SPP/APR, including OSEP’s definition of slippage, and instructions for using the platform. When it is available, the SPP/APR User Guide will be posted with OSEP’s Community 360 SPP/APR Resources.
  • SPP/APR General Resources: OSEP has made available a number of other general SPP/APR resources, including a universal TA document for FFY 2020-2025, and a link to access EMAPS (the SPP/APR platform). These resources can be accessed from OSEP’s SPP/APR Resources for Grantees page.

DaSy and ECTA recently released the SPP/APR Basics, What You Need to Know training series, a collection of self-directed modules on the SPP/APR. These are a helpful resource for anyone who is new to the SPP/APR and to anyone who just wants a refresher! ECTA and DaSy are also working on completing checklists and tips for each Part C APR indicator to support states in providing required information and completing all sections.

DaSy and ECTA are available to review your draft SPP/APR, including the SSIP, prior to submission to OSEP. If you are interest in having such a review, please contact either your ECTA State Contact or your DaSy State TA Liaison. Specify which indicators you would like reviewed and the date by which you need feedback. Also let us know if there are certain sections of the SSIP that you would like us to pay special attention to in our review.

For questions, please contact DaSy.
