OSEP, with the collaboration and support of ECTA Center and DaSy Center (for Sections II and III), developed this voluntary self-assessment tool to help Local Education Agencies (LEAs) strengthen their child find system with the goal of ensuring children eligible for special education and related services are referred and enrolled.
The ECTA System Framework and the DaSy Data System Framework were developed in coordination. DaSy was tasked with developing a framework for data systems, DaSy and ECTA agreed that the DaSy data system framework would serve as the Data Systems component in the ECTA framework.
Partnerships between the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) program and Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) program can support and improve outcomes for children who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH) and their families. Collaboration between these programs is specified in the IDEA Part C Regulations
DaSy and ECTA staff discuss FFY 2020 results from the Indicator C4 Family Outcomes data, including state approaches to surveys, data quality, performance trends, and resources.
For a Part C system, the fiscal data profile depicts demographic, service delivery, infrastructure, and administrative data in a variety of ways to make the fiscal data more comprehensible to users.
