What I Wish I Knew Then: Lessons Learned Designing and Managing State Data Systems

Thinking about improving your data system? Considering replacing it? Join and contribute to a discussion with former data managers as they share lessons they’ve learned. They’ve learned a thing or two based on their own state experience and their technical assistance with dozens of states. From using paper to using spreadsheets, distributed software, batch uploading, and centralized statewide systems, these former data managers have been there and done that. Come with your questions. As part of the session, states will be encouraged to share their own lessons learned.
