Since the implementation of SSIP, DaSy and ECTA have tailored TA to meet the specific needs of each state. At a minimum, this involved TA specialists reviewing and providing input on states’ yearly SSIP documentation before submission to OSEP.
Child Outcomes Year-to-Year and Local-to-State Meaningful Differences Calculator
Use this tool to compare child outcomes summary statements across years and compare local child outcomes data to the rest of the state. This Excel-based calculator uses statistical formulas to determine if local and state level differences and the year-to-year differences in summary statements are likely due to factors other than chance (i.e., statistically different).
Analysis Steps Used to Generate National Estimates for Progress Categories, Summary Statements, and Results FFY 2022
National estimates were determined by weighting and combining data from states that met criteria for high-quality data. Weighting allows states that serve larger numbers of children to exert more influence on the national estimates.
IDEA Child Outcomes Highlights for FFY 2022
This provides an analysis of the FFY 2022 IDEA Child Outcomes highlights. The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) funds programs providing services designed to assist children with a range of delays and disabilities in achieving individualized developmental and functional goals. There are two types of programs. Part C Early Intervention is for children ages birth–2, and Part B Preschool is for children ages 3–5.
