Date: April 2017
Presenters: Donna Spiker & Kathleen Hebbeler
This poster addresses how developmental science can contribute to evidence-based policy making through the collection of systematic information about the quality of exosystem influences on children and their caregivers. Specifically, this poster describes a system framework and measurement strategy developed to support the improving the quality of state systems for early intervention (EI) and early childhood special education (ECSE). Although these were developed specifically for EI and ECSE state systems, much of the content is applicable across all early care and education programs because these programs face similar infrastructure challenges at the state level.
