Data visualization is a powerful tool to report many types of data, including qualitative data. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, state and local Part C and 619 programs have had to think creatively and strategically about how to provide services to children and families in a virtual environment due to in-person restrictions and school closures. As a result, programs will have gathered a wealth of qualitative and contextual data that can be displayed for federal reporting purposes, accountability and monitoring, and stakeholder engagement. Participants will be given a framework and an overview of different techniques for displaying qualitative data and hear one state’s story of how they have used visualizations to communicate qualitative data to stakeholders. Participants will have an opportunity to share with each other in breakouts.
