Interested persons can submit comments on two recently published Part C information collection packages.
Comments for Child Count, Settings, and Exiting (OMB 1820-0557) should be submitted on or before and September 22, 2023. Summaries of the three proposed revisions for this information are as follows:
- Add new Part B eligibility not determined categories. These new categories are (1) evaluation not completed; (2) parents did not consent; and (3) late referral.
- Revise the definition of community based settings.
- Add a new metadata question to ask states to annually report the permitted values the state uses for reporting gender.
Dispute Resolution (OMB 1820-0678) is unchanged from the previous package. Comments for this package should be submitted on or before September 19, 2023.
