The application for the 2026 DaSy Part C and Part B Section 619 Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Data Institute: Advancing Data Quality and Use is open! This two-day, in-person event offers hands-on support to collaboratively strengthen state and local data use.
The Data Institute is designed for both IDEA Part C and Part B, Section 619 ECSE state teams. States are encouraged to apply as a joint Part C/Part B Section 619 team; however, Part C and Part B Section 619 ECSE programs may also apply independently as separate teams. Joint teams should include the Part C Coordinator, Part C Data Manager, Part B ECSE State Coordinator, Part B ECSE Data Manager, and up to two local program leads.
Individual program teams should include the Part C or ECSE State Coordinator, Part C or Part B ECSE Data Manager, and a local program lead. The state team must access and be prepared to use local data throughout institute activities. More details will be provided upon acceptance into the institute. This opportunity will be limited to 5-7 state teams.
Applications are due on April 17, 2026.
DaSy is pleased to offer travel reimbursement for state teams to participate. DaSy can support travel for up to 6 participants for joint Part C-Part B Section 619 ESCE state teams or 2-3 participants for individual program state teams. While we do our best to accommodate travel schedules, all attendees are expected to participate in the full two-day Institute.
