Since the implementation of SSIP, DaSy and ECTA have tailored TA to meet the specific needs of each state. At a minimum, this involved TA specialists reviewing and providing input on states’ yearly SSIP documentation before submission to OSEP.

Use this tool to compare child outcomes summary statements across years and compare local child outcomes data to the rest of the state. This Excel-based calculator uses statistical formulas to determine if local and state level differences and the year-to-year differences in summary statements are likely due to factors other than chance (i.e., statistically different).

National estimates were determined by weighting and combining data from states that met criteria for high-quality data. Weighting allows states that serve larger numbers of children to exert more influence on the national estimates.
