The presentation reviewed the process and components of a programmatic use case, discussed how to use the programmatic use case and reviewed a state example. Lastly, the session engaged in a small group activity to create a draft use case based on the DaSy Critical Questions.

Improving Data Quality Using the Child Outcomes Summary Knowledge Check (COS-KC) with Practitioners
August 2022. The COS-KC assessment checks if practitioners have background knowledge needed to participate in a high-quality Child Outcomes Summary process. These presentation slides are from an IDIO Conference session introducing the COS-KC and helping state staff consider how the COS-KC might enhance their outcomes data collection and professional development activities.

OSEP Updates & Implementation of Part B and Part C of IDEA during the Pandemic
Laurie VanderPloeg leads OSEP in the work to improve the outcomes of children with disabilities and families through the funding of the IDEA Part B formula grants as well as the IDEA discretionary programs by issuing idea determinations and most recently by addressing questions and meeting the needs of our stakeholders around the Covid-19 pandemic.
