This annual report includes national summaries by year, and summaries by jurisdictions for key data items, including, screening, diagnosis, and enrollment in early intervention. There are three “Early Intervention Data” summaries that provide data on children in early intervention identified with hearing loss, including children enrolled in early intervention prior to six months of age and reasons for no documented early intervention services among infants identified with permanent hearing loss. This data can be used by states to determine if children are receiving screening and referral for hearing loss and to ensure that early childhood systems are collaborating to better serve this population. To access relevant data, users should click on the year for which they would like to obtain data, then select the topic of interest.
