Section 618 of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requires that each state submit data about the infants, toddlers, and children with disabilities age birth to 21 years who receive early intervention services under Part C of IDEA or special education and related services under Part B of IDEA.
Excel files for several fiscal years are available and provide data on the number of infants, toddlers, and children and percentage of the population receiving early intervention services under Part C of IDEA by age and by state. States can use these Excel files to compare across years and to other states.
