Definition: Early intervention (EI) and early childhood special education (ECSE) data teams are groups of individuals, including families and other stakeholders, dedicated to using data to plan and make decisions about programs and services. EI and/or ECSE programs may create dedicated data teams or expand the scope of an existing team (e.g., state or local implementation team, interagency coordinating council, advisory board).
