In collaboration with their early childhood technical assistance center partners, DaSy is hosting the national IDIO conference with the theme of Leadership, Equity, Impact. The IDIO Conference is designed for IDEA Part C and Part B Section 619 Coordinators, IDEA Part C and B Data Managers, parent leaders, and others working to improve state capacity for equitable, evidence-based data systems, programs, and practices; and to ultimately improve outcomes for young children with disabilities and their families.

The IDIO Conference will include opportunities to attend:

  • Constituent Group Meetings
  • Workshops (3 hours)
  • Opening and Closing Plenaries
  • Concurrent Sessions (90 minutes)
  • DaSyTalks: For States by States (25 minutes)

Constituent Group meetings of IDEA Part C and Part B Section 619 Coordinators and IDEA Part C and B Data Managers from states, the Caribbean and Pacific Islands, and the BIE will be held on August 21-22 and 25-26, 2022.

Intended Outcomes

Participants of the IDIO Conference will increase their knowledge and skills to:

  • Improve state capacity to collect, analyze, report, and use high-quality IDEA Part C early intervention and Part B preschool data, including data on child and family outcomes.
  • Address equity throughout the cycle of inquiry.
  • Enhance, streamline, and integrate early childhood data systems to address critical policy and practice questions that will facilitate program improvement and improve compliance accountability and outcomes for young children with disabilities and their families. 
  • Use national resources and states’ experiences and resources to build organizational capacity and support the implementation of evidence-based practices.

Keeping Everyone Safe

As the IDIO conference host, DaSy seeks to help everyone stay safe and healthy. DaSy will continue to closely monitor and be informed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and District of Columbia guidance on COVID-19 and develop COVID-19 safety protocols as appropriate.

In helping to keep everyone safe, participants are encouraged to wear masks and social distance during the IDIO Conference in all hotel conference session rooms and spaces. 

Given the rapidly changing nature of the current pandemic, DaSy may modify their guidance on IDIO Conference COVID-19 safety protocols in the future.

IDIO Conference Agenda At-A-Glance

The IDIO Agenda At-A-Glance is the weekly schedule for the IDIO Conference including constituent meetings, workshops, plenaries, concurrent sessions, and DaSyTalk sessions.

Speaker Resource Center (For Presenters Only)

The Speaker Resource Center is the go-to resource for all IDIO Conference presenter information. Presenters will find a list of all their presentations with their day, time, and room assignment, as well as their personal presenter profile. Presenters are encouraged to upload all presenter materials and review the required presenter resources and guidance documents.

Attendee Hub App

The conference app, the “Attendee Hub”, is your go-to source for everything IDIO. All participants should use the app to stay up to date with the latest news and announcements, create event profiles, view personal schedules, and access social media (#IDIO2022!). The full conference agenda, speakers, presentation materials, and other resources are at your fingertips in the Attendee Hub app.

Getting started with the Attendee Hub App is easy:

  • Login with the email address you used to register for the conference.
  • Check your email and text messages for a verification code to complete the 2-step authentication process.
  • Spend a few minutes familiarizing yourself with the app and setting up your individual session agenda prior to arriving at IDIO.
