The draft of the Version 6 Common Education Data Standards (CEDS) has been released for public comment. There are 43 Updated Elements (over 400 with updated context information) and 21 New Elements. In total, the proposed CEDS Version 6 includes over 1,400 unduplicated data element definitions. All are encouraged to review the draft standards and submit comments by May 4th via the CEDS website.
